Our rescue candles are handmade to the highest quality and poured with love right here in Australia. Made with pure soy wax, they are vegan-friendly and beautifully scented.
Each set contains three 150 g single-wick candles, with an approximate combined burn time of 90 hours.
Every purchase helps us feed and care for the herd. 100% of profits go directly towards supporting the horses and other rescued animals at Horse Shepherd. Our Sanctuary is volunteer-run and pays no salaries.
Each candle comes in a chic matte-black traveller’s tin measuring 78 mm in diameter and 52 mm high. Each tin holds 150 g of wax and has an approximate burn time of 30 hours.
Candle care
Before each use, trim the wick to approximately 5 mm.
On the first burn, allow the melted wax pool to reach the edges of the tin, up to a maximum of four hours. Allow the wax to reharden completely before relighting.
Always place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from children, animals, draughts and flammable materials.
