Tori was surrendered with a “sore” leg however when we collected him it was clear he was in a grave state. X-rays revealed the infection in his leg had started to eat into his bones. Tori had struggled through the winter in intense pain.

After a week of hugs, grooming, a dry warm stable, carrots, apples, liquorice, bread, oats, in fact anything a boy could wish for, Tori was PTS at HSES. Thanks again to Dr Simon from Golden Plains Equine for helping Tori become pain free. Our hearts ached… Tori quickly became everyone’s favourite!

We often think of this brave beautiful horse – who died because his owner neglected basic care for too long.
