Amber and Ruby arrived together from the dog pens at the saleyards – these aged mares only had meat buyers bidding so they were purchased and surrendered to HSES. We don’t know if they knew each other previously however they bonded on the float ride to HSES and remained at each others side. We were thrilled that they found a super home together as companions!
