Since moving to HSES park in January 2016, we have been fortunate to share our work with supporters and prospective adoptees keen to see what we do first hand. We have had hundreds of you take the time, and often travel great distances, to come and see the sanctuary; with visitors throughout the week and most weekends.
Whilst we love having you, with the shorter, colder days now here, we have decided we need a little break. All of our Board work outside of HSES and have our own families and pets, and it’s getting difficult to fit it all in to the shorter days without burning out. So, we will not be holding any volunteer days or be open for visits until the end of July. We will celebrate our reopening with an Adoption Day at the end of July/start of August.
During our little break, we will still be educating horses in preparation for adoption, updating our social media channels, and responding to emails. We look forward to seeing you once the sun has returned and we are all feeling refreshed!
Huge thanks for your continued support and understanding, from all of the HSES team.
