Panda Pandemonium – Panda meets Phoenix!

PANDA PANDEMONIUM ….What’s so great about foals, anyway? They’re only little and cute for like, a year. Me? I’ll always be little. AND extremely cute.
Panda and Phoenix
I’ve had to work hard to climb the pecking order at HSES. All those other big-head horses mistook my smallness for weakness… HA! Well that changed pretty quick. I’m not afraid to assert myself. Only trouble is not letting the humans see- I can’t be seen doing anything that might taint my ‘cute’ image. I started from the bottom and worked my way up. The foals were a good start; but I’m not a bully. I like to think of myself as a bit of a ‘mentor’, really. Phoenix was my first target. He was small and cute (so the humans say), and a real favourite, being one of the first foals born at HSES. He obviously didn’t realise that small and cute is MY thing. I had to be smart… Let him know who’s boss, but without Food Lady (Anne) seeing what I was up to. A little nip here, a little kick there. Chasing him away from MY lucerne… Someone’s gotta teach him, right? I’ve totally pulled the forelock over Food Lady’s eyes, too. It’s a pretty important job I do as a little horse at HSES, but someone’s gotta do it!
Love, Panda
